New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said today that the state will lift COVID restrictions on commercial and social setting now that 70% of adults here have had the vaccine.
Masks will still need to be worn in some settings such as:
🏥 Hospitals
🏫 Schools
🚌 Public transportation
per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.
Mayor De Blasio said today that he recommended all New Yorkers - including those who are vaccinated - wear masks indoors but stopped short of issuing a mandate.
